Argentine club River Plate has reached an agreement with English Chelsea to sign Ecuadorian midfielder Kendry Páez on loan for one season to compete in three competitions. The London club decided to terminate the Ecuadorian midfielder's loan at Racing Strasbourg early and enabled a new move to favor his sporting development. According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, the deal was finalized on Tuesday night after Chelsea accepted River's proposal, which the London club considers the best alternative for the player's growth. In parallel, the French club will continue the development process of Gessime Yassine, which freed up a spot and accelerated the resolution of Páez's future. The agreement includes a season-long loan with no option to buy, and the player has already received authorization to travel to Buenos Aires in the coming hours.
